the problem is not that its all lies but that there is truth mixed with the lies and influences that are not explained in the "normal" realm of things. "Satan always has his counterfeits" He tells people to fast, purify your body, doing good works, etc to get self rightousness instead of having FAITH AND TRUST in JESUS!!!

listen to this person's testimony and you might understand. alpha state meditation is not the same thing as experiencing the Holy Spirit and His redemptive powers in your life, that happens during delta level when scientists say people can't control and the body heals itself and people don't remember upon waking.

God heals us. God saves us and this just concerns me and I wanted to see what you thought about experiencing a false Holy Spirit.

May God guide you and have mercy upon us all.

my college roommate was deep into new age christain movement and now suffers from seizures. Its spiritual crack and not something you can just brush off as being "in the head" this is dangerous stuff people.

Well, there is no such thing as a false Holy Spirit. Only one Spirit is Holy and that is the Spirit of God. What it is a deception of the father of Lies, satan. Good works are not bad, if they are done in Christ. Purification of the body is not done by natural means, as Jesus Christ IS the purification of the Body. The righteousness of God is faith in Jesus Christ.

I say you should pray with your friend. And tell her that Jesus can heal her. But do you believe this enough to ask her if she will, by faith be healed by him? May Jesus bless you my friend.

I think you're right though, we should just have faith in Jesus and place it all in His hands. :)

My friend, we cannot go against the will of God. It is safer to stay focused on Jesus Christ and his message gospel. We can see these lies increasing, but I have learned that our anger cannot do anything contrary to God's will. Many people will perish my friend. MANY! And the only way they can be saved is not by our preaching against people, but the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are not fighting giants as David fought, who fought with stones and a sling. We are fighting against Satan himself. And this fight is won by FAITH IN GOD TO SAVE US FROM THAT DARK HOUR!! And as in the garden our Lord prayed, we should be praying now. If for the testimony of PEACE, (which is not safety and security in this world, but JESUS CHRIST and the gift of eternal life), we should be killed or hated, then we glorify God, because we are not killed for strife but for the gospel of Jesus, and then it is a testament of our unity with Jesus. NOT BY SHEDDING OF BLOOD BY BY LOVE UNFEIGNED

Don't let your good be evil spoken of, follow after CHARITY. May Jesus bless you
 
??? are we talking about the same subject my friend?

we shouldn't go against the will of Jesus but if you see people deceiving themselves thinking they are doing things in the name of Jesus, out of love should we not speak to them? If we are to speak to them shouldn't we then know what they are talking about or believe and how it contrasts what is right and based on the Bible?
