A lot of christians say they forgive, but they will not forget. that is the wrong attitude for a believer. when God said that he would forgive your sins and not remember them any more. ,he meant that they would not be brought up or mentioned again. this is where christians get confused with not forgetting, .sure ,God have not forgotten them, he just don't bring them up in your face again, because he have forgiven you. and this is the same manner we should forgive. If you don't forgive others for their trespasses, he will not forgive you for your trespasses against others. either you forgive or you don't. don't make a memorial out of people that have done you wrong. forgiveness is for your own good. it keeps you from avenging yourself. that is why God said vengeance is mine, i will repay. you sow a seed of vengeance, you will reap the fruits of vengeance.
