I'm easy to please. A moonlight walk on the beach or a simple lunch at a hole in the wall restaurant would make me quite happy. Any date can be perfect when you're with the right person. It's not the activity itself, it's the company that make a date fun.
 
I had a date take me to ComicCon one year. That was awesome.

I like a good geek expo. I went to E3 this year and kept thinking it would be nice if someone enjoyed the same interests.

I am simple to please. I hate movie theaters for a first dates because sitting there looking forward for an hour and 1/2 isn't my idea of getting to know each other.
 
Going to the movies first gives you something to talk about at dinner. My ex and I did that all the time. Sometimes we agreed on the same things, sometimes we didn't.

I think doing volunteer work somewhere is a nice date. Like helping at a church workday or helping a neighbor paint his fence. Running a booth at a fair is fun too. My first boyfriend and I did that once on halloween and had a blast.

I agree with this, I don't think that it would be a very good opportunity to talk and get to know one another.
