A raven sat perched on the back of mastiff,
whispering into his ear.
"A crow I could be, if only you'd see, the oceans of my despair."
The mastiff looked over, beholding his shoulder, and spoke to the bird in reply,
"My God is a lover, and says you are made out of lies.
Whisper them longer, I may naw your bones,
but fly away now and I shall forgive you,
once more I shall bring you home."
