It is imperative that the believer has a revelation of the indwelling Christ. There was a point in time when God revealed Christ in Paul, Gal. 1:15-16

15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Revelation comes by Spirit teaching, it can be referred to as Spirit taught knowledge.

The revelation of the indwelling Christ; is the gospel. Paul said his gospel was a person and that person dwelled in every born again believer, Gal. 1:11-12

11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Has it ever occurred to you why there can be so much division in Christianity. How two different groups can have just a little different understanding and have nothing to do with each other.
The law always has division, there can be no fellowship in law because of it's divisiveness. Members of the same group fall out over the way it should be interpreted.
Some of the old-timers in certain denominations would literally scuffle over the interpretation of the law. The day will come again when men will not endure sound doctrine and despise you for God's sake.

Revelation is the most important thing to happen to a Christian. We must have a revelation of Christ to see what is so plainly written.

What does revelation do; it free's the mind, it gives all of written scripture it's proper perspective. It will change your doctrine from an outer knowledge, to an inner knowledge. It is the key to unlock your understanding to knowing Christ. There are things in God that are just for you, for your expression in life and knowledge.
Men seek the wisdom of the world by their training and education, our wisdom is not of this world. We speak the wisdom of God, the hidden wisdom of God.
Our wisdom is a person and that person revealed, 1 Cor. 2:7

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Knowledge shall increase in the last days, and we see it happening. There is more education, more understanding, more knowledge, but its worldly, earthly, has no impact on the thing's of God.
Without revelation the mind operates from the old knowledge of good and evil. You ever wonder why professing Christian's look no different from the world sometimes, it's the mind.
Of coarse we are quick to judge every book by our doctrine, and deem them un-saved, heathens.
Not knowing the difference between the two and showcasing ignorance.

Paul told the Galatians they needed to learn Christ. What christ do you suppose he was reffering to.
As we have mentioned time and again Paul gives us the in Christ statement over 150 times.

I need to know Him who is my life, and the only way to know Him as life is revelation.
Some might ask how do I know I have had a revelation of the indwelling Christ. The answer Paul said is simple; no man can reveal it to you, and when the HolySpirit reveals Christ in you, you will know it. No man will have to say "you got it" you will know it, Gal. 1:16-17

16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
