When God created Adam and placed him in the garden of Eden, He gave Adam certain legal rights.
God conferred upon Adam the authority and power to rule the earth..[ Genesis 1:26 ].

When Adam sinned, Satan obtained control over all that which God had originally given to Adam.
In Luke 4:5 and 6, where the Devil is tempting Jesus, he shows Jesus all the kingdoms of the world, and offered all that authority and glory to Jesus if Jesus would worship him. Satan states that he has this authority and power because it was delivered [ handed over ] to him. Who handed it to him? Adam did when Adam sinned.
That is why the Devil is called "the god of this world" in 2 Corinthians 4:4.
Since that day, when Satan gained control, Romans 8:22 records that, "...the whole creation [earth]
groaneth and travaileth in pain together [even] until now."

GOD MOVED

In order to complete all the requirements of justice, God brought about the Divine conception of Jesus..[ Matthew 1:18 and 20 ]....who was to be the Christ.
The child was born of a woman. This Redeemer had to be a man because it was man who had committed the original sin.
God had to produce a sinless man and yet one who was of the line of Adam.
The Redeemer would have a human body derived from Adam and yet not have soul life from Adam's sinful blood.
Jesus was absolute man, but the power of Satan had no authority over him, for there was no death
within his body because the life in his blood was sinless and pure...he did not have that sin nature we are all born with.......because of what God wrought ...the divine conception of Jesus the Christ.
Every step that God took was a step on legal grounds.

Jesus Christ Moved

Jesus Christ bought back and delivered to God the full redemption of man.
Jesus Christ was born with sinless blood in his veins......but he also kept himself sinless, even though he was tempted in all things. [ Hebrews 4:15 ].
He was the only human being who ever walked perfectly.......no wonder God exalted him to His right hand and gave Jesus the name above all names.!!!

Redemption included his crucifixion.
He took the sin of mankind upon himself and he died our death....He was buried three days and three nights...to fulfill Old Testament law.....then God raised him from the dead. And we were justified.
Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and took with him the tokens of his victory over the Devil..[ Ephesians 4:8 ].
On the grounds of Jesus' complete victory, every person born in this world has a legal right to salvation and eternal life because of what Jesus did. Jesus paid the full legal price for man's sin and the consequences of sin. We even have physical healing if we simply accept it. [ 1 Peter 2:24 ].

Now it Man's move

When we confess that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, the Word of God says, "thou shalt [absolute tense] be saved." [Romans 10:9].
The moment a person does this, they become children of God. And if we are children, we are heirs of God....and joint-heirs with Christ. [Romans 8:17 ].

Satan may be the "god of this world", but there is absolutely no control that Satan legally holds over any child of God. We must exercise our authority as sons and daughters of God, just as Jesus Christ did....he got in Satan's face and said, "IT IS WRITTEN". Jesus Christ took his stand upon the written scriptures! Do you believe the Word of God has power? Jesus already proved for us that it does.

Step into the livingroom of God's grace, mercy, peace, love and power.
Take your shoes off.
Make yourself at home.

God bless you all.

I totaly disagree with this part the devil may have offered Jesus the Kingdoms, But he is a lair and the truth is not in Him, so because he said he could deliver all the kingdoms don't mean that he could have. and to say that God gave Adam some legal rights, is crazy talk. if God was not still in charge before the fall and after the fall then why was adam and eve punished for what they did if they had legal rights there was nothing wrong with going over God and even until today God is still In charge, the only reason satan is call a god ( LITTLE g) is that the world has chosen to follow him. I am part of this world But satan has no power over me or else He would had never let me call upon the name of the Lord , funny thing, benny Henn and alot of other misguided preachers in this area preach this doctrine that satan has authority over this world. but why did satan have to have God's permission to touch Job. and why would satan ever let someone be saved , he could just kill us without ever letting us serve God. again I say satan is powerful but please don't ever raise him above God here on this earth or any where else , He won't even have control in hell He will be chained ,it is a dangerous doctrine to raise satan over God in any area of heaven or earth or beneath the earth

Isa 14:12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

one more thought here if there is such a thing as "the rights of redemption" then it would not have been called Grace, much less Mercy and Grace!!

It is not that satan has no authority, but satan has authority over those under his authority. This would include any kingdoms of the world which are under rulers who are opposed to the Gospel. Including the usual suspects, Hitler, Stalin, Ghengis Khan, etc.

Thank you Pastor Kieth for your reply.
I certainly do not raise Satan above God in any manner.
Satan is under our feet......It is Christ in us.
The Devil cannot stop anybody from being saved.
Satan has no legal rights over anyone born again of God's spirit.
An accurate translation of Colossians 1:13 is:

"Who [God] rescued us out from among the excercised authority of darkness, the rulership of Satan,
and gave us citizenship in His kingdom by what His Son, Jesus Christ, did for us here upon earth."

The Devil is eternally defeated......
I think if you re-read what I said, you will see that I never implied, directly or otherwise, that Satan is above God.
God is Almighty......Jesus Christ sits at His right hand.........and we are seated in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus with him.
[ Ephesians 2:6 ]

God bless

Exactly.......

And God Almighty, His Son Jesus Christ, and the born again believer's are NOT under his authority.

Bless
