The second thing that is obnoxious to the Creator: lying tongue.
Regrettably, we will be always compassed by liars. It’s impossible to ward off them.
Notwithstanding, what it makes difference is how we come to grips with them. Two things need to be watched out:
First:
Hanging on to Jesus and His Word will get us free of the wicked and deceitful tongue, when the wicked open the mouth against us (Psalms 109.2).
Second: let’s delight ourselves in the Creator, Rest in Him and wait patiently for Him and He shall give us the desires of our heart (Psalms 37.4,7). Not to mention that we won’t have time to hear vanity and lying word (Proverbs 30.8).
This, in turn, will preclude us of listening to lies, what would turn all our servants (people that Jesus put around us to serve us) into wicked.” (Proverbs 29.12).
Whereas Ha-Satan it the father of the lie, let’s spurn of evil word (see Isaiah 33.14,15) and above all: may come out of our mouth only the speech fraught of grace, seasoned with salt, which is powerful to save and free our lives (John 8.32; Col 4.6; James 1.21).
