The Spirit has been speaking to man from the beginning. But not everyone has heard his testimony. It is the testimony of God and his redemption plan for the world, who had fallen away. It is the testimony of the LOVE OF GOD!! And yet, when he expressly spoke on Jesus Christ from the beginning, men could not receive his testimony, because their hearts were hardened.

And when God sent his Son to this world, who came to preach the Kingdom of God and to fulfill all law and prophets, they did not know him. It was because they did not know God. Any prophet of old was not a law to himself. They ONLY spoke when the spirit gave utterance. You have heard that you should covet to prophesy. But I say, covet to LOVE!!! Jesus fulfilled the Law because he would be the manifestation of the Law and Prophets through LOVE.

You don't have to be a prophet to prophecy. Even wicked men, who did not have the Spirit spoke by the Spirit to fulfill the plan of God. Even a donkey spoke by the Spirit to a mad prophet who had thought to go against the children of Israel. And we know that God, who shaped us from the dust can very well, by dust, speak to us if he wanted to. However, is God's word dust? I tell you, God is not a man, nor is he the son of man.

Covet to love!!! Why should you covet the gifts and not the giver of the gifts? Should there be division in the Body? Yes, there will be deceivers in the last days, but anyone that is in operation by the Spirit WILL NOT be deceived. The elect will be spared. But tell me this. Are you the elect? Do you obey Jesus or do you just speak his words? It is one thing to say what Jesus said, but it is another to obey him. If you preach to people, do YOU also take head to the Word you preach? I tell you this, Jesus Christ is the Word, and ANYONE who does not preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, even the same gospel that was heard by you when you received Jesus Christ as Lord, has not preached THE gospel of Jesus Christ.

This is the gospel of God: ALL PEOPLE were wayward and evil and unpleasing to God. ALL PEOPLE needed a savior. And so God sent his only begotten Son to the world so that ANYONE who believes on him will NOT perish, but will have ETERNAL LIFE!!! I SAY ANYONE WHO BELIEVES ON HIM!!! ANYONE!! SINNER OR SAINT!!!

If everyone was righteous they would not need Jesus, but everyone were sinners. This was the error of the pharisees. And the error of the Saducees that they did not know the power of God to resurrect us from Sin COMPLETLY!! THE POWER OF GOD IS THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST!!!!

There is so much more I can tell you about my Lord, but you should already know this, that we want PEACE IN THE BODY, even as Christ is in the Body, and the Body is in him. May Jesus bless you and keep you.

Hey Ramon! Thanks so much for posting this. It gave me a lot to think about. I know that I'm guilty of not always following the Gospel, yet giving that advice anyways. I'm working on it though. Becoming a strong Christian is a process and this gave me the encouragement to keep going, even when I have questions. :) God Bless.

The Spirit has, indeed, been speaking since the very beginning and thereafter too. It behooves us not to break the unmistakable and constant association between, on the one hand, "life-giving breath" and the "tree of life" (Gen. 2: 7-9); and, on the other hand, the Holy Spirit and Christ's death on the cross (John 3: 14-15; 7: 38-39; 14: 15-21; 16: 5-15; 19: 30-37).
