Because all of our cloths comes from over countries, those countries can make us naked. They can force us to put on a certain type of clothing if they wanted.
I've been wanting to do a thread on biblical economics in BDF; but I've been too busy and/or lazy to get to it- so I'm glad someone else has picked up the slack- these are good topics.

Americans COULD make their own clothes- and I'm sure there is an industrious American Christian lady out there that could confirm that. It would be inconvenient for a lot of people... but, so are a lot of other things.

"PROFITABILITY" has been KING in the United States, sitting on Charity's throne for far too long. It is past time to get our priorities straight as a nation.

The problem is Textile companies often build their factories near lakes and rivers because they need large amounts of water for processing. Unfortunately, many discharge toxic dyes and wastewater directly into these water sources, causing serious environmental damage — similar to what has happened in parts of China and India. We don't want that happening to America.

So, I've only learned it through other bird-fanatics; but apparently you can "trade" with Corvids. From what I understand, if you prepare a treat for them and call them they can "befriend" you they will bring you "stuff"... shinies like paper clips, or even money!

So, while Ravens do scavenge for carrion for their own consumption; that does not necessarily reflect what they will bring to a human as a gift.
Yes, and if he cooked it and shared with the ravens i could see them bringing food daily

This is true; importing clothing gets around doing harm to the amber waves of grain, and the fruited plain. But does importing textiles mean that "they could force us to put on a certain type of clothing if they wanted" as suggested by the OP? I would say no... at least for the industrious people. We import virgin fabrics that people use to cut their own clothing. Additionally, there are always modifications and recycling clothing back into raw materials. I understand girls used to do this for fun before the feminist plague turned them all into aspiring astronauts etc.
