As of today they are reporting total deaths in the USA at 560,000. For Sweden the corresponding number is 13,402. The population of the USA is about 333,000,000, and that of Sweden is about 10,200,000 (both rounded up).
According to reliable sources, the reported deaths have been inflated by about 40%. So we should apply that to both countries. Thus we get 336,000 deaths for the USA and 8,041 for Sweden. Calculating the death rates, we have:
USA: 336,000/333,000,000 x 100 = 0.10%
SWEDEN: 8,041/10,200,000 x 100 = 0.079% or 0.08%
This translates into either 1 out of 1000, or less than 1 out of 1000, dying from COVID infections! There was no need for mass hysteria and fear-mongering.
