the likelihood of standing water being present in order to freeze suspect.

you need to, like, actually read the journal articles.

you keep talking about dates a month or more before the rocks were observed moving, and you posted all kinds of average temperatures for all of Death Valley taken by a weather station miles away, seemingly oblivious to the fact that these guys had their own weather station right there in the playa, and you don't seem to have comprehended ((i'm guessing not even read)) the article you yourself linked to on the meteorological conditions of the area -- which, i remind you again, can vary significantly locally.

it is very unclear what your point is other than to verify what i mentioned weeks ago, that perhaps you tend to prefer "
mystery" to actual understanding, almost to the point that you might like to have the word tattooed on your forehead, therefore whence come the uneducated & unsubstantiated criticisms of what is actually well-reported and well-documented factual observation..?

Figure 8. Racetrack Playa phenomena.
Parts show: (a) thin windowpane ice over-riding a recently moved rock (
January 9, 2014), (b) water creeping onto the low gradient northern shore of the pond during the December 20, 2013 rock movement (∼11:15 am), (c) ice windrows on the eastern shore of Racetrack Playa near the weather station (∼1 pm, December 20, 2013); ice panels are ∼2–3 mm thick and mixed with mud and rocks scoured from the pond bottom, (d) rock carving a wake through ice that is moving left to right; open rippled water in the foreground (January 9, 2014). Images have been cropped but not otherwise edited.

PH,

try and not to get over intense, precious, enlightened one,; and don't take offence while
others, we pray, are seeking...we can never forget how hard and often, how seemingly futile -
seemingly impossible it can appear to grow and attain certain goals, and 'to deny self' -
to 'give-up' our 'old-man' and his/her desires and we begin to be called-out and begin to
embrace/worship our Holy Saviour, The Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the End.
REV. 21:6.
And He said unto me, It is done. I Am Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the End.
I will give unto him that is a-thirst of The Fountain of The Water of Life freely.

I've seen the Rolling ones recently. How they still Roll or even walk at their age amazes me!

When is the last day it rain/snowed/ or there was any measurable precipitation prior to the reported movement of the rocks on December 4, 2013? [1]

Can you answer that question? If you could then you would understand why I refer to air temperature (High)(Low) from November 26th through December 4th.

You must be incompetent if you consider the weather data below as being the "average" and not the actual recorded data at the Furnace Creek weather station.

You don't have remind me that rainfall can vary from one point to another point, even if those two points are no more than 50 feet away.

Matter of fact, this last Sunday in the Dallas area I got rained on for ten minutes and on the other side of the road it didn't get a drop. Maybe a coincidence or maybe the LORD was telling me that just they recorded rain at one spot on the Playa doesn't mean it rained over the entire Playa. (The Playa is nearly 3 miles from the N point to the S point and from .5 to 1.5 miles from W to E)

Let me ask one more question. How many hours would it take for a block of ice, 2" x 2" x 2" (H x W x L) to completely melt if outside if the air temperature is 50 degrees? Would it even melt or would it remain frozen?

Since faith requires one to believe all things then it is easy to understand why Jesus said to him, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believes since those who believe all things are possible do not have faith.

And it is sad when the believer begins summarily dismissing the possibility of things simply because those things contradict what they believe are true. Thus the faithful become an offense unto the believer who has nothing to hold on to while faith proves all things.
