There's a well in the land*
Surrounded by many,*
A well with water
So deep and for plenty.
A place you can drink*
You won't have to run,*
Located in shade*
Not scorched by sun .
He will quench your thirst*
I promise you this,*
That when you want more
First in line you will get. *
One well in the land*
Is all that we need*,
In a land of plenty*
Gods kingdom, his steed.
Two by two do they come
These great wells of water
One quenches your thirst
one will make you run farther .
Gods cup has a drain
So drink from Him plenty
fill full to overflowing
He'll fill your cup gently.
when truth comes your way
You'll be directed to Him
The well with living water
to the top fill your rim ..
You'll no longer thirst
You'll no longer see,
The wells of stagnant water
He will quench these seas.
So come into the shade
And rest for a while
By the well with living water
it's deepness goes miles .
it's fed from a wellspring
The wellspring of life
so fill up your cup
Stop dipping , sipping strife .
the ladle is iron
yes sip from it too
it will sharpen iron
Strengthening you true ..
I hold out the cups
to those who do thirst
The wellspring of God
This fountain pours first ..
God is my lord and master
Jesus Christ saved my soul
I sip from His cup
His truth and promises told .
no level to deep
You will be recieved
sharing all of Him
This well who's so deep.

Amen, thanks for writting that poem of truth the words tell it all.That living water we get from God we never thrist again. The purest water to every drink from.
 
Great job and love the impact at the end, I strive for that as well, so the reader will re-read again and gain more insight.
 
deep calling to deep Cee :) God is exactly that .. his deepness abounds all mans knowledge .. All mans love, grace , mercy,and forgiveness ..
there is more of all this in Christ , who meets us in the depths of our darkness..He is the light :) he has more than any other can offer :)
