People stand looking
At the divide
The difference
But more often than not
It causes interference
For those who claim
To worship the name
Of God, the Son,
The Spirit that came
We’ve misread their aim
Which was once proclaimed
It’s not about customs
At the end of the day
It’s our actions they say
That set the great stage
When we are judged
And our sins repaid
Because back in the day
They were all the same
And Understanding did reign
So don’t sweat the small stuff
All will be explained
Instead of this feuding
Try to soothe other’s pain
And don’t ever let your title
Be also your shame
Because you and me Brother
We’re like a slow burning flame
No need to place blame
That’s a sinner’s game
And every day we see
Those who once overcame
There’s a kingdom out there
And we all know the fare
When our time comes
Nothing will compare
Turn to the Lord’s prayer
And grasp this gift so rare
Cause I’m telling you now
Don’t relinquish your stance
This isn’t a bet
But a one-time chance
