ok, we all read about having the word written upon our hearts, quoting scriptures from the new testament often, yet when i read the epistles written that we so often quote from is it "the word" they were referring to or The Word as referred to in Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by Him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

im not discounting in any way that the epistles or even the gospel for that matter are not the inspired word of God, just that the apostles kept making mention of how glad they were that the churches had received the word.....

How about this,gen1;So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

gen5;
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

col;
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Prov;
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.

Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

john;
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
