If you answered yes to all of these questions, then WHAT IS WORNG WITH YOU, YOU WEIRDO!!!! But seriously, I thought I would open up this thread with that in order to catch you off guard. Many people sometimes wind up joining Christian chat and utilize it as a dating service. I will be the first to admit that I am guilty of doing that (but that was not my immediate intention). However, is that necessarily bad or wrong? Fellowship does bring about friendship which in turn can form relationship, yes? With these people who get on here using the site as a dating service, what sites would you recommend they turn to? Have you had any personal encounters with one of these people?

To be honest with you, everything did apply to me instead of the last point. it would be nice if this site was like christianmingle.com or some other site like it.
 
An option that would fit me would be, "No, but I accidentally fell in love anyway"

I chatted with my (now) husband on here in 2005 (we became good friends but nothing more back then).. He quit the site in 2006 and I kept in contact over the years, met him in 2010 and got married this year!

I had a personal encounter with someone from this site

It involved a kite, a certain unidentifiable body odor, and him crying IM SUCH A LOOOOOOSER!!!

The point and purpose of the site is for fellowship; if it somehow manages to lead to hooking up, to each their own.

if to talk about dating thing on cc then no , never thought of this site from this point , but i did meet lot of good people on the site which are my good friends now

ooh congrats :) I love hearing love stories :)

I just come to the site to talk about the Bible and various Christian doctrines being taught at various churches and what the different demoninations believe and sometimes pray and fellowship with people personally.

never really that interested in romantic stuff lol unless its with my husband and then he has to get my head out of the lastest book i'm reading or out from under the pile of my current project.

Exact same situation with me. My husband and I started talking in the threads in 2009. We met as soon as possible, now we're married.
 
I come here to meet other Christians and share nice moments with them. I might also meet that special someone too in here. Who knows? :)
