amen that is a powerful movie every time I see it it is a reminder and example of what he must have endured on our behalf

a few days ago I found a movie called son of God based on johns gospel I thought it also was a good
One the passion was based on matthews accounting this one is based on johns. It is far less Hollywood quality but I thought it was a great watch also
I don’t watch a lot of movies these days but found that one and watched it all the way through and felt an impact another I watched about a year ago was about johns on the island of Patmos and his receiving the revelation it was a good watch also

I will look for the Son of God movie.
I have two very old books this one was made into a movie many many years ago" The Greatest story ever Told" by Ouslet Armstrong. It very much like reading the gospels.
The second one is " The Greatest Faith Ever Known".
It take up where the gospels end and finishes the N. T. With the epistles. O. Armstrong passed in writing second book and his daughter finished it April Armstrong no movie I know of has been made.
It's not available at libraries anymore bc it's old and I don't know if a copy can be downloaded..if your interested.
I was able to find one your avatar reminds me of every time I see you post "Pilgrims Way".
It is always uplifting to fellowship and read what you have to say as well.

I love the greatest story ever told watch it every year just about around Easter !!
I’ve never heard of the greatest faith ever told but I’ll definately look into it always interested in annointed books movies or teachings for sure !!
amen sister the more we can find unity in Gods word the more we’re beginning to understand Gods powerful love and purpose for us children on this earth
Jesus prayed specifically for our unity among other things
“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
And the glory which thou gavest me ( the glory of the son ) I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one;
and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.”

I did make special mention of those new to the faith because oftentimes when they arrive here, they ask for materials to help them read, or movies to watch to augment/complement their studies; some have problems reading... I direct such people to the Alpha Course online, also I think it, too, could benefit anyone in their faith walk. Have you seen any of those videos? They were updated since I originally went through the course in 2004, which was, incidentally, during the time my conversion experiences took full effect
I believe there are ten videos total. Many churches host Alpha Courses and invite
seekers for dinner and a vid presentation followed by question/answer/discussion.
