Still the love of the Lord will stand. He has loved us
from the beginning of time and he will love us til the
end of time. He is our shelter and our shield, it is He
who we glorify eternally. From the beginning of time
He held us in His arms. From the start of Genesis to
the last page of Revelation, He shows us how much
love He has poured out on us. Right from the start
of Adam and Eve who betrayed His trust, He had a
way to reconcile us to Himself again. So He created
covenant after covenant so we can learn to be loved
by Him and to love Him. His seventh and final one
was our Lord Jesus Christ. From the beginning day
of Christ's birth until the day Christ rose, God showed
us His plan. From that time on He said that even if we
fail, He will still forgive. We only need to believe in Him.
How precious is our Divine Father.

First heard and learned this song in college:

Refrain:
Though the mountains may fall and the hills turn to dust,
yet the love of the Lord will stand
as a shelter for all who will call on His name.
Sing the praise and the glory of God.
1. Could the Lord ever leave you?
Could the Lord forget His love?
Though a mother forsake her child,
He will not abandon you

2. Should you turn and forsake Him,
He will gently call your name.
Should you wander away from Him,
He will always take you back.

3. Go to Him when you're weary,
He will give you eagle's wings.
You will run never tire,
For your God will be your strength.

Reminded me of
Psalm 46: 2. For this cause we will have no fear, even though the earth is changed, and though the mountains are moved in the heart of the sea.
