Psychologists have recently discovered a new mental disorder. It's called Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). But what is it, and how do you know if you have it? Most importantly, how do you treat the illness?

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a mental disorder characterized by an irrational obsession with Donald Trump. It is primarily found in American journalists but can also extend well throughout ordinary people in the European Union. You can usually treat it with counseling and, in extreme cases, with a permanent career change.

This article will show you what TDS is and who is likely vulnerable to this insidious disease. You will then discover ways to treat it and how to cope with it daily.

What is Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)?

Psychologists believe that the disease reared its ugly head around the beginning of 2015. This period was when Donald Trump announced his bid to become American president in the 2016 elections. Of course, no one took him seriously, and there were no documented TDS cases at that time.

The problem started when he won the GOP primary. Then, American journalists became quite nervous. They indeed saw him as a threat to their beloved candidate, Hillary Clinton.

The disease became more prevalent when Donald J. Trump won the presidential election in 2016. The first cases of TDS were then reported. And it wasn't just one person. It was the entire staff at Cable News Network (CNN).

Their news anchors had it the worst. Here is a list of those who were most afflicted by the derangement:

  • Anderson Cooper
  • Christiane Amanpour
  • Don Lemon
  • David Axelrod

It was reported that Cooper and Axelrod had to be hospitalized after they discovered that Trump won the election. Amanpour and Lemon had to be sedated. The rest of the staff at CNN had to undergo psychiatric treatment.

Symptoms of TDS

There are several symptoms of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Here are just a few of the more serious ones:

  • Obsession with all things about Donald Trump
  • Irrational hatred toward Trump and his family
  • Saying Trump's name over and over again, even while sleeping
  • A constant need to fabricate lies about him, his family, his business, or his presidency
  • Intermittent incontinence, especially if Trump achieves a political milestone

Post-Presidency TDS

Clearly, the most problematic disorder is Post-Presidency TDS. It affects those who are obsessed with Trump, even after he has left office. Psychologists believe this form of psychosis may be irreversible.

Those reportedly suffering from Post-Presidential Trump Derangement Syndrome are:

  • Nancy Pelosi
  • Chuck Schumer
  • Adam Shiff
  • Anyone at CNN
  • Anyone at MSNBC
  • Anyone at ABC news
  • Anyone at NBC news
  • Anyone at CBS news

There is a great deal of evidence to support these clinical findings. Researchers point to the irrational belief that these people could impeach a president that was already out of office. The studies' conclusions were cemented when they weren't able to convict him of any wrong-doing.

The reason it spread so quickly is because of the close ties Democrat senators have to the American news media. This strict political alliance with CNN and others has caused an explosion in cases of TDS over the last few months.

And it isn't just in the US. One of the largest cases in the UK involves BBC World News.

Top anchor Katty Kay has reportedly gone into severe psychosis over Donald Trump. Even with him out of the White House, her obsession with him lingers.

Treatment options for TDS

There are several treatment options in the early stages of clinical development. Some are experimental. But there is still hope that scientists can find a permanent cure within the next few years.

Television abstinence

By limiting what a person watches, they may be able to be deprogrammed. The hope is that without any news media to infect the average person, they can go on to lead a normal life.

Abstaining from politics

Scientists believe that staying away from politics is a useful measure over a long period. We will know more about this extreme treatment plan within a few years.

Departing the Democrat party

Studies have shown that when a person leaves the Democrat party, they can make a full recovery eventually. Since most people in the news media probably never will, there is still electro-shock therapy. But there is some lingering controversy surrounding this level of therapy.

Career change

Scientists believe the only way for a journalist to beat TDS is to make a career change. Most would do well at baking cakes or sorting hand towels at a department store, they conclude.

Key Takeaways

Nearly one out of three people have TDS in North America. But the EU is close behind, with almost one in four people obsessed with Donald Trump.

Only with advanced psychotherapy can these numbers change for the better. If you or a loved- one suffers from Trump Derangement syndrome, there is help available.

Just call the TDS hotline at 1-800-BEAT-TDS. And let's all hope doctors and psychotherapists can find a cure for it soon.

Recently researchers at the Bud Light Institute have also found that a curious paradox of this disorder is that for many of those afflicted it is the only reason they have for getting out of bed in the morning undoubtedly giving a measure of meaning to their paltry lives – perhaps the first time in their existence.

The quandary being of course do you remove the TDS and ipso facto their sole reason to live (other than vapid virtue signaling..) or allow them to carry on in their obliviously noxious state ?

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a mental disorder characterized by an irrational obsession with Donald Trump. I
Correct. But this irrational obsession is rooted in irrational HATRED for Donald Trump. But why is he hated so much by the Left? Because the Left under Obama was committed to the destruction and cancellation of America, whereas Trump's slogan was "Make America Great Again", and he achieved a great deal in spite of the opposition. This was the exact opposite of Obama and his underlings.

And the reason Obama was committed to the destruction of America was because he was a committed Communist/Islamist. But the Globalist Elites and the Islamists were also committed to the destruction of America, as well as Trump, because he stood for the Constitution and liberty, whereas they wanted to impose slavery and anarchy on the world. And through COVID they have succeeded in doing exactly that. But TDS led to the theft of the presidential election in 2020, and that is the issue which still needs to be resolved.

At the same time Mr. Trump must take responsibility for (1) allowing the bogus pandemic scenario to flourish while giving the Leftist governors and mayors the opportunity to do their worst, and (2) neglecting to carefully and thoroughly address the matter of election fraud starting in January 2017 and going forward. When it comes to national emergencies, the president has sufficient constitutional authority to address them directly. And both these issues were national emergencies.

we are living in the times of S&G, just like always - we must wonder how one 'separates themselves'
'one from another of the S and G's???, meaning how does one put themselves 'above or better' than the OTHER???
it's a mystery, that only Columbo' could solve!!!

C'mon guys, we should be old enough to know by now that it's all paid players acting on a stage.

Really, how can so many Democrats hate Trump so much without paying someone to pull the trigger?

They have all those they pay in those hate groups to burn down buildings in Oregon, & even killed a cop in Washington.

Anybody that knows anything about rifles knows snipers can kill at about a half mile away on a clear day.

If they really hated him that much he would have been dead in the first year of his presidency.

Think about it... JFK was killed for less. A lot less.

Or you can just believe your own eyes and ears over a baseless unrelenting 4 year long hate-a-thon including 2 impeachment attempts and ending in an historic coup d'état.

Love your God with all you strength and you neighbor like yourself

Than you do not need hospital to cure you TDS because you will not have TDS just abey Him

Not all assassination attempts on Trump have been reported. But many on the Left have spoken about it. If he is still safe and alive, it is only by the grace of God. Naturally, he has had an effective security detail protecting him also.

Update:

ABC News spent one-third of its Sunday broadcast reporting about a speech Trump gave today at the Conservative Political Action Committee Conference in Orlando, Florida. And it was clearly mixed with vitriol and anger toward the former president, so much so that the anchor was clearly agitated. Yet, he could not stop talking about Trump.

Apparently, there is still much to do concerning TDS.
