The 7 Feasts (Lev 23) of the Lord govern scriptural events & time lines. The Feasts were planned, written & fixed. Before the sun, moon & heavens were set as acting witness's to God plan.
Sept 9th, 2018 brings in Rosh Hashanah/Feast of Trumpets Sunset Sept 9 - 10. Day of Atonement/Yom Kippur Sunset Sept 18 - 19 & Tabernacles/Sukkot sunset Sept 23 - Oct 2

Yom T’rooah/The Day of Trumpets/Rosh Hashanah/Head of the Year

Leviticus 23:24 Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, in the seventh month, on the first of the month (Tishri), you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of (shofars) trumpets.

The Feast of Trumpets/Rosh HaShanah/Head of the Year. Feast of Trumpets: One Hundred Shofar Blasts bring in the New Year. 33 short blasts of 3, then comes Tekiah Ha-Gadol. A single unbroken blast, held as long as possible. Ended of the agricultural year & began the New Civil Year. This Feast was the beginning of 10 days of reflective Repentance. Also known as the 10 Days of Awe.

The Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) came 10 days after the Trumpets announcement of The Feast of Trumpets/Rosh HaShanah/Head of the Year. The 15th day brought in the Feast of Tabernacles/Festival of Booths.

These 3 Jewish Feasts along with the 4 Spring Feast: Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits & Pentecost were a shadow of the coming ministry of Christ.

Paul wrote all scripture is God breathed/inspired (2 Tim 3:16). And that all scripture was written for our instruction/learning (Rom 15:4). That's written for our Instruction/Learning ""NOT"" for our doctrine.
