First of all a small introduction, Todd Bently is wolf in sheep's clothing, false prophet and agent of Satan, who masquerades as an evangelical preacher giving out healing along with the usual showmanship stunts. He came to fame about 5 years ago with his FireMisistry at Lakeland Revival, basically claiming God had told him to pass fire anointing on to people, who in turn could take it to their churches and pass it on in turn. Watching this is rather disturbing and not something we see as Biblical.
As the months rolled on, he exposed himself more and more, telling some extremely disturbing stories about how he was visited by an "angel", most like Satan himself , who would regulary give him advice and messages from "God". Accounts sound more like occult and eastern mysticism rather than Christianity and Bible.
His healings became rather violent, he kicked one person in the face, claiming God told him to do it, yes sure, demon having fun more like. His actions became questioned by more and more people. It was on the basis of this that he was refused entry to the UK last year.
His marriage fell apart and he had affair with a younger attractive woman who has now married. It was the result of this which saw him step down for a while until it all blew over.
However, he is back, Europe and USA is obviously going to be a hard place to gain credibility again, so that leaves Africa, he is currently doing a revival tour of Africa and is up to his usual tricks and leading people to bad spirits and goodness knows what, while pretending to preach gospel and heal.
Many people in Africa proberbly unaware of whom he is and the things he claims etc, and is therefore a totally untapped market for him to exploit with millions of spiritually hungry people falling for this wolf in sheep clothing who they unwittingly follow into demonic oppression and influence.
So please, stay clear of Todd Bentley and do not have anything to do with him or what he teaches.
