Those that are trying to clean up their lives before they go to Jesus is wasting their time. That is the reason he came to us,because we can't clean up our lives on our own , only he can do that. A person needs to bring all their sins to Jesus, that heavy burden of sin you cannot get rid of on your own. MATTHEW;11; 28-30;-28; Come unto me ,all ye that labour and are heavy laden,and I will give you rest. 29; Take my yoke upon you,and learn of me,for I am meek and lowly in heart,And ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30; For my yoke is easy,and my burden is light. Who do you go to in order to get a tumor removed? A doctor,Why? Because you can't remove it on your own. This is how you bring your burdens of sin to Jesus, because only he can remove them. This is the first thing you must do, there is no other way around it.. Once you bring your sins to him,then will he remove them and your burdens will be lifted,and you will be clean. But, it don't stop there, He said once that have been done ,you must learn of him, learn who he is and what you must do to live a righteous life.
