I was a nice glass mask
that allowed me to play each part.
Never letting anyone get close to me
to see what was truly in my heart.
All that changed the night I was arrested,
I had been exposed and broken.
People could now see me
and how messed up I was within.
There were pieces and shards everywhere
making me into a new mask couldn't happen.
Each single piece of the glass was now useless
because of how my life was marred by sin.
But God, in only a way He could do
picked up each piece from the floor.
I would've been OK with being a mask
but He wanted to do more than just restore.
I became that wonderful and new creation
I was made into an Amazing Chandalier.
From a broken, troubled, and painful life;
His restoration lets me now stand right here.
