This is one of my older poems I've been going through. I find it to be very powerful. I thought I'd share :)
Trapped.
Feeling the storm clouds build in my eyes.
Disperse from me you must go.
No rain shall fall today.

Screaming.
The pressure builds without relief.
Silence has never been so loud.
No sound shall be heard today.

Frustrated.
Beating on the walls surrounding me.
Let me out is my only plea.
No one shall be free today.

Fighting.
Blood shed till I no longer stand.
The battles rage on withing me.
No victor shall be crowned today.

Dying.
It is not I who will lose this battle.
This war can not last forever.
I SHALL survive today.​
