Why was the seventh day sabbath changed to the first day? Up until a few years ago I observed Sunday as the sabbath because I didn't know any better. Now I know that the true sabbath is on Saturday, the seventh day of the week.
Sabbath begins on sundown Friday and ends at sundown Saturday. The Spanish language uses the word Sabado for Saturday which also translates to Sabbath. JESUS observed Saturday as the sabbath AND EVEN REMEMBERED THE SABBATH IN HIS DEATH, and was ressurected on Sunday.
Is the changing of the sabbath day just another work of satan to deceive the world into not observing the true sabbath? The Romans changed the sabbath day back in the second century A.D. to separate their worship from the worship of the Jews. Also Roman paganism played a role in the change, since the first day of the planetary week was Sun and was regarded as the most important. Christian converts from paganism wanted to cling to their veneration of the Sun and therefore Sunday was established as the Sabbath.
SUNDAY SABBATH IS A LIE!
