1 Peter ch 4 v 19

Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to him in doing good , as to a faithful Creator .

Keep on doing good and God will protect and preserve us forever , even in difficult times , that’s what I get from it . Be encouraged If God be for us who can be against us ?

It’s an evil world , and the more we follow God the more opposition we will find . God helps us and gives us grace to overcome. That’s the purpose of Jesus as a mediator on our behalf. If life is easy as a Christian , I’d say it must be a compromised life . And God will not allow it to go on . That’s what chastisement is for . No such thing as an easy Christian life . But we have a hope that makes it all well worth it . Sinners have a horrible end , they just don’t know it . Or they would certainly repent . No one likes to be told they are wrong , but that’s the starting point , learning how to repent and find Gods mercy . There are gospels that make it easy but so is the wide and broad way that leads to destruction, easy ! The straight and narrow way is not easy . The word of God is able to make us wise unto salvation. 2 Timothy 3 :15,16,17 . God bless !

Yet, in Jesus we lack nothing. Psalm 23 - The lord is my Shepard I lack nothing. - Hebrew "lo eschar". not lack anything you need.

John 10:10
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

The root in the Greek literally means, shalom, fullness, peace, prosperity and abundance in every way.
I take that including finances, relationships and health for God is not a man that he shall lie.

There is something greater than our own suffering, and that watching someone we love and serve suffering. And at the same time we are suffering at high level.

Can we measure up to Gods word and glory in that state of being?

This is why I’m beginning to say shalom, shalom (perfect peace) in Him.

Its that verse he was talking about Christians suffering for their faith. Now sickness and that kind of thing hits all of us and is not of GOD but the enemy and we have faith in that name as Peter and John said "faith in that name healed this man" and by His strips we were healed.. and more.. if any among you are sick call on the elders of the Church.. . yeah And lay hands on the sick they shall recover.

The reward for those that praise GOD glory to Jesus that suffer for their faith.. wow
