I just want to head what other people think when someone you talk to says "trust me"... I'm typing this because someone just said it while I was chatting online to... But it frustrates me when someone say it!

1) Online? Yeah I'll get to trust you over time...
2) I"m allowed to have my doubts, right?
3) LOL your story is waay too good to be true...

Dunno if it made any sense, but oh heck! =)

i think it depends on who it is that has said *trust me* is it a friend or is it some random person

Whenever someone says "trust me", I always feel like I'm about to get scammed.

Totally know what you mean. Well hey I am a billionare. My dad is president and a minster. And I am a super nice guy..You can trust me! Some of the people jeez. I am not going to trust anyone online unless I actually know them. The internet is chock full of creeps, weirdos and people who think its funny to mess with people. One of the many unpleasant things about it

I guess its right up there in statements like: This will hurt me a lot more than it will you...etc. Just my opinion. Hopefully I can trust the people around here though :)

yep someone shouldnt have to tell you to trust them. trust has to be earned. but sometimes someone will say it like after something they know about, like, hangovers are horrible, trust me.
