The underdogs. Jesus loved them. He sought them out. He called to them. He ate with them. He lifted them up. He transformed their lives. They have been on my heart. Guess what? We're ALL underdogs until we are victorious in Him, right?
Yep...I know there are times when some people might get on our nerves, especially if they seem constantly negative/whiney/judgmental/etc. But isn't that usually just the loneliness and bitterness talking? Don't we all have our days? Shouldn't we be speaking healing to these things?
I want the Lord to give me eyes, ears and a heart that see/hear the frustration behind dirty looks, the loneliness begin the whining, the insecurity behind those who seem judgmental and the hurt behind the anger. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit. He is so very patient with us. Being more patient with one another is an awesome way to show His love...and I know.... it ain't always easy. But we can do all things in Him, right? We may fail from time to time, but maybe we can elbow one another at those times as a reminder that even those sibs in Christ who annoy us are still family.
Just a thought...
