Hello everyone, I will give a little background before I begin. Just under 2 years ago I had a paperound and someone phoned the shop saying they needed their dog to be walked, so I said I would, and I did. As I did I grew very friendly with Derek who is now an 80 year old man. I have visited him for whole days, a few hours in the morning or even just 5 minutes. The point is he is my dear friend. Last night myself and 3 friends all went up to his for a gathering, and everything was going well until he took me to the front room and told me he had stomach cancer and that he doesn't think he has long left, then he broke down in tears and asked me to get everyone to leave but me. He was crying and saying things like ''you're the best pal I ever had.'' It broke my heart to see him like this, but what hurt more was the fact that he was talking about suicide and he was also an agnostic (pessimistic to say the least.) So I grabbed his bible and I didn't know what to read because he was to emotional it was almost pointless, even when he was at his best he remember literally NOTHING I had read him from the bible, so I read the very last verse of revelations (I do not know why and got him to acknowledge his sins and ask for forgiveness in a prayer, then I prayed for him many times, and I tried to comfort him until it was 1 in the omrning. I don't think he took it seriously though, because when I kept speaking about Jesus he said ''it's no use Matt, it makes no difference now.''

Brothers and Sister of Christ I NEED your prayers to help me, help him. I also need your prayers so I have the wisdom of other ways to get him to accept Jesus. Thankyou, God Bless.
 
Jesus be with Matthew...Lord you know his friends heart...give Matthew divine spiritual insight what to say...may he tell his friend he would like to see him in heaven and that there meeting was God's appointment. Open the eyes of this mans heart Lord. Lead Matthew how to pray.

Derick is in my prayers. And I think, you know... just find one thing that will show him just how much God loves him, and no matter what happens, he will always be loved. God bless

Brother Matthew!! Blessing to you my brother! Here is something from the Lord in me unto you this very day!! ( hebrews 6:10-12) As you well know,we do not always understand the whys in life,we do know, that our life now has a purpose in Christ! What first can look very bad,can be made to end up wonderful!!

Jesus suffered on the cross,things looked so bad, why even the disciples who said they would not leave Jesus did leave him. ( matt 26:56!!) Death came upon our Jesus,but 3 days later, what happened?? Not only did Jesus rise,but we in him! The devil would have you think your words meant nothing!! The devil would look to steal the seed you have sown towards this man,be not deceived!! God is not mocked!! For whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap!( gal 6:7-10!!!!!) Please read this brother and be greatly comforted!!

The only way we can be defeated in Christ,is if we allow ourselves to be,the only way something can be stolen from us, is if we in Christ allow such things to take place.( john 10:10) Judas the thief is dead( john 12:6) He cannot take what we do not give him!! Know your words of life,shall bring life to that man,you may not see it yet,but he will!! And the Lord sees all!!! Blessing to you my brother in Christ!
 
I am praying for Matthew. Your love is your revelation of Christ that he can see and the reason why you were the one he called to confide in. Love is the way, the truth and the light. Continue to pour into him and encourage him in his time of need and continue to worship God and pray to him for guidance. This will not be an easy journey but it is possible with Christ. Thank you for your message :) Prayers go out to both of you!
 
Lord Matthew is in His friend's life for a reason, let you ministry flow through him and testify that You are Lord of all so that Matthew's friend will see You and completely and truthfully surrender....in Jesus name
