Hi folks just been thinking about my life and it struck me that most of us are waiting on god for a variety of things ranging on god for a job....to waiting in god for loved ones to be saved.I myself am waiting on god for many things (naturally sometings involve me doing things)..Sometimes I have felt alone in this waiting in god issue,yet I am sure that I'm in the same situation as countless others.
So I would welcome your comments on how you cope with the 'waiting on god' period?
 
I am waiting for His second coming :) Then we can kiss this

yes yes that's true..yet at the same time there will be many who won't have eternal life.!!
 
Stewart, my thought on this immidiately goes to a plan. While you feel as thought you're waiting on things, as we all do sometimes, know that every moment is part of God's plan and things will happen when they are intended to happen. Do not seek to pass the time until they do, but instead enjoy the moments that you've been given. God Bless you

Lord bless stewart in this prayer, let all his loved ones come to know you, and accept you as their personal saviour. Lord please bless, in Jesus loving name, Amen!
 
It helps me to think that whatever I'm waiting for is also waiting for me.

For instance, when sick I think of the healing as just waiting for my body to catch up.
 
I feel like the key to waiting on God is to seek out contentedness in your current situation. Find joy and even gratitude in your circumstance before the promise is fulfilled. If you cannot do it on your own, ask God to give you that joy, contentment, and gratitude. As far as the unsaved, I think it is important to accept them for who they are, be grateful they are in your life, pray for them often, and keep seeking after God with all your heart. It is hard to know your family have no spiritual eyes to see the Lord and no desire to have their eyes opened, but in time they may change. Nothing is impossible with God. God bless!
