Wesought love as a holy city

I gave birth to everything in my eye.

I met my pain. But the sky nowhere.

I sought love as a cheerful homelandAs an edenic land of peaceTo say at the moment, "Stand up, you are too beautiful!"I crossed the earth, but I did not find peace.I sought love as a heaven of nature. And I wanted to get out in the way with the branches,To absorb the nectar of happiness from the cup of the world. And I broke the cup in tandary, because I found nothing.I searched in vain. But I fell with fright,For too much was His burden.

I just got up and I came to him

To find out what treasure he has in the task.

But I felt that life as if it were a waste,

When I looked through ragged shrieks of weeping.

For in the treasure there was a boil like a cuddle ,A boil of yeast, a sponge of spills.Everything that is dirty and rotten in this whole worldHe roared the neck of his slain. But where do you carry your strange burden,The burden of judgment under which you lean?I asked, the drummers. And He said to me in the whisper:To the waters of forgetfulness, to throw it forever ..."But you," said the stranger, slowly raising his gaze,But who are you looking for in the cruel and the fright?-I ... I whispered in silos, I ... we were looking for love ...-Iubirea? ... the stranger's response. I am… Autor: Costache Ioanid (Romanian poet)
