Welcome Jesus’ words and see Christ’s life to be multiplied through you and impart your life a meaning all special.
To illustrate this, do you remember when Jesus multiplied bread and fish? Jesus said to the apostles: give them something to eat yourselves (Mt 14.16). As far as the apostles complied to the voice of Jesus, the miracle came about, which turned them into a provision for the hungry crowd.
If anyone wanted to eat, they had to bide for the twelve apostles. It had nowhere else to go, nor there was any point in advancing on the twelve apostles, because the bread was multiplied as the apostles were distributing (just as it was with the widow's oil - 2 Kings 4: 1-7). That is, for each bread and fish that was distributed, a new bread and fish appeared.
This points to the true meaning of food: see the power of the Eternal at work (see 1Co 2.4,5; 2Co 4.19.20), in order to multiply food through His love operating in life in each other. The real supply (what really sates) is not in the amount of food to be eaten, but the opportunity to share with each other and to see the Eternal at work.
The important thing is not only to satisfy the hunger, but our contact with those who are a miracle of Jesus (and vice versa). It is not just a matter of solving a physical problem, but of showing everyone that the only way to achieve victory and life is to seek communion in Christ with those whom Jesus has placed close to us (Ps 133.3; 1 John 1.3).
The effectiveness is not in the food itself, but in what Jesus wants to work through, namely: His life acting miraculously in the one who imparted the fruit, so that his fruit multiplies as much as necessary so that everyone is saved and well nourished physically and spiritually.
This resembles the holy supper. The emphasis is not on eating the body and drinking the blood of Christ, but on sharing both, so that everyone around us feeds on the will of the Eternal (blood) and His teachings and, thus, can live it the right way with those Jesus gave us.
So, listen to the voice of Jesus and be a provision of blessings wherever you are. May Jesus bless you.
