My name is Seth, and I just moved to Maryland--far from home in Maine where I grew up. I'm still adjusting and trying to make friends at my new job, but it's been very difficult. Thus, I decided to come try out a Christian chat site--perfectly logical response, right? Anyway, I've been a Christian for all my life--though I've gone through periods of backsliding unfortunately. I'm twenty-three years old, and I'm finding enormous pressure to conform to the norm for that age group as one might expect. I've found a wonderful, inviting church to attend, but I'm struggling to get involved because I just really don't know where to start. I guess I'm kind of just hoping to find some people to talk to--a reason to look forward to coming home more than my wonderful cat, Elijah. Anyway... that's my story; have a wonderful day! I'm off to church :)

Welcome to CC Seth, I am sure you will enjoy it here. We have many young adults here in your age group.
We sometimes can be silly, laugh and have fun, but this can also be a great place to talk about God, be encouraged in your faith and never be afraid to ask for prayer, there is always someone willing topray with you.

hi seth.. Ive always ALWAYS wanted to live in maine!! I have family in bethseda maryland. Anyways, welcome to cc.. May i also point out that i have not seen dice hanging from a car mirror since i was 14.... very smooth. veeeery smooth lol
