What a prince/princess would do

I always hear that we are prince or princesses because we are sons and daughters of the King (God), so i was thinking in how a prince or princess would react to:

.....gossip
.....mistakes
.....pain
.....frustration

what do you think a prince/princess would do? :confused:
 
Sometimes i wonder what kind of response is better to some situations.....face them directly with the person you have a problem, ignore them, defend yourself, give to them less importance.....

When someone say something about me, i remind the movie "Point of no return" (with Bridget Fonda) and the part in which she say "I never did mind about little things" and i wonder if that would be the perfect answer to problems......

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner. My apologies for not responding. :)

gossip: We can't engage. I will usually smile politely and do whatever I can to discourage that.

mistakes: We should respond with compassion, as we would hope others will respond to us. It might not happen immediately, but it really needs to happen. If we are the one who made the mistake, we should admit it and ask forgiveness, and allow that person time to forgive while we just love them.

pain: Hopefully not take it out on others. Not turn it into anger. Give it to God and allow healing to come.

frustration: Turn negatives into positives. When I'm frustrated, I sing or exercise to work it out.

.....gossip - don't do that. It is injurious to others and God wants us to love one another.
.....mistakes - it's OK. We all make mistakes,have regrets. God's son died for our mistakes.
.....pain - Christ died on the cross for our sins, ultimate pain experience, so we live eternal.
.....frustration - This too will pass, for God is good, and, His ways pass by our understanding .

A prince or princess would probably have people arrested or punished somehow. I think a better question is What Would Jesus Do?
 
Youre right zero, its better to think what Jesus would do
(but i still sometimes would like that some ppl be arrested lol :D )

Gossip: "A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret." Proverbs 11:13

"A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends." Proverbs 16:28

"The mouths of fools are their undoing, and their lips are a snare to their very lives. The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to the inmost parts. One who is slack in his work is brother to one who destroys." Proverbs 18:7-9

"A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid anyone who talks too much." Proverbs 20:19

Mistakes: well, every christian should know very well the Bible so they will not fall, they won't sin so easily.

"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:13-17

Pain:
"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Frustration:

"Cast your cares on the LORD
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken." Psalm 55:22

"Hope in the LORD
and keep his way.
He will exalt you to inherit the land;
when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it." Psalm 37:34
 
gossip: I like listening to strangers & I've accidentally met with big gossips & I politely explained: You shouldn't worry about them. Know that what you say can anger people whether you meant to or not. Keep your opinions about others to yourself please. I still talk to that person but not really.

mistakes: I own up to them & apologise. I dislike misunderstandings very much but I'll apologise if I feel that you need it. I'm very clumsy with words & I make a lot of verbal mistakes. :( & if its a big mistake I will pray.

pain: I used to deal with alone but now I know that I need to rely on God to help me with this.

frustration: Some mumbling of unintelligible words, being alone, & then 1 big sigh & I'm usually over it quickly. If its something that is serious I will pray.
