I've started to work on my covetousness . I didn't realise how many things come under the banner of covetousness . For instance , I do like looking at a certain antique site . It has all different kinds of antiques from all over the world on one site . I'm not going to buy any but I like to look , maybe I will c something of value in one of my many local charity shops , in fact I have done that and bought things that r worth way more than I've paid for them . I also like jewellery , especially silver . So there is one jewellery site that I look at regularly and , if I c something in the sale that really is a bargain I might buy it . I need to stop doing the aforementioned things and , indeed I have . It's been about a week now since I looked at either of those sites . I miss them a bit but not as much as I imagined that I would . I think looking at them had just become a comforting habit . Well I've broken it now , at least for the foreseeable future and , forever I hope . No window shopping . Only going to look in shops that I intend to buy from . For example I'm going to a wedding in the middle of July so , closer to the date I can start looking for a dress .
Covetousness is as idolatry 😞 , I need to remember those strong words .
