Hello,

We should add the preceding verse from the KJV. (I'm not sure if it's in the others since the other critical txt versions excluded thousands.)

22And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Doesn't this make it clearer?
It does. Makes it complete too.

I primarily grew up watching two preachers: Kenneth Copeland and Jesse Duplantis. Now, I'm just making this clear - I do not hate either one of them. They both obviously loved God tremendously, and wishing them any ill will is not in my heart.

Having said that, I've become pretty detached emotionally from them, over the past few years (not entirely sure why). I still have some videos of them on my computer (mostly Jesse). I haven't watched them in a while, but I'm scared to delete those videos because I'm under the impression that it would somehow mean I'm either loving God less, or even sinning somehow. So for the moment, I'm not really sure what to do.

Hi Brother Joshua, I hear what you're saying. I just went through a similar season. I found that the Lord was nudging me to move on. If your feeling distant from the familiar, what the Lord shared with me is that He was removing from my life what no longer served a purpose. It didn't mean it was not good for me. There was a purpose for it in my life at the time, but now I have outgrown that need and it is time to readjust or realign myself with something new that fits my current season. You have been growing in your faith with the Lord. You were fed, as those leaders fed His sheep, you being one of them. But you are no longer on milk, let's say. You need something new. I used to Love to watch Joyce Meyer...and same disclaimer, I know not every media preacher or ministry is well received, but what she taught came from her own life experiences, and I had those same issues. God turned her mess into a message, and her tests into a testimony. And because I have similar background of childhood wounds and such as she, it was a good fit. I learned so much and grew in the Lord. I went to her conferences and I even bought a whole collection of her books I then later donated to our Women's Ministry Library at the church I was attending. But all this to say, we need to let go of what no longer serves us and be open to step into the new season the Lord is calling us into. Just go to Him in prayer and ask Him where He is leading you and let Him know you trust Him and you desire to be in His will for your life. He will answer you. Ask Him for clarity. He will clarify, send you confirmations. Nothing dramatic, but you will just know that you know it was a sign from Him. You will not be sinning or sending a mixed signal to God that you love Him any less by deleting those videos. You are making room and opening your spirit up to receive the new people, places, and spiritual study material the Lord wants you to be blessed with. As you delete each video that no longer serves a purpose to remain on your desktop, ask the Lord to lead you to something He wants you to learn. Do that for each one you delete, and you don't have to do it all in one day. Saul's walk with the Lord started with a single step after his experience on the road to Damascus. Our walk with Him is no different. One step at a time. And these new experiences of what you learn and how you grow may be the very thing the Lord needs you to have as part of your gifts to be able to fulfill His calling and assignments He has planned and ordained for your life. You already hold in your heart what you learned from your earlier studies. Letting go can be just a sign that you are releasing them because they helped heal you where you needed healed and you now carry what they were meant to teach you and in your walk with the Lord, you will be releasing what you learned from them to other brothers and sisters and the lost sheep in the world who need to know what you learned and carry from that part of your journey.

I hope what I shared resonates with you. If so, make room for the new, Brother; God's not done with you yet. Today, Tomorrow, Always. Amen.

But anyway, back to the main point: what exactly do you see in Mr. Copeland, that makes you believe he is "false"? I'm not trying to bait you, or start a pointless argument - I honestly want to know.
Hello JB! Greetings from another former follower of those and other so called Pentecostals who fell within the crosshairs of Kenneth Hagin Sr. Many did not heed his parting rebuke. May the Spirit once again lead the flock to safety!

Those two preachers what I have been seeing online are all about money-prosperity preachers and they manipulate others to give to their ministries which is very sad. I dont wish any of them ill will but pray they see the errors of their ways and repent for their behaviour towards their flock and start preaching the REAL GOSPEL and not distort the words of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST and what was written in the HOLY BIBLE. GOD BLESS...🙏

By now, few should be surprised it is still being fomented from the pulpit, just as my link I provided shows. Fewer still, are those of us who know which financial prosperity the Bible condones and which should not be taking placed as you mentioned. Seems a sleepy strange sort, no one wished to take issue with Hagin Sr., himself who was known for teaching: ", , that God was not glorified by poverty"? What? Should biblical prudence be so sure? Didn't brother Hagin ever hear of one of the first Pentecostal's, Peter, about to hurl the early Church another glorious confirmation of the body of Christ?

"Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

Earthly wealth, not required, then again neither is poverty. The assembly we should be acknowledging is the one who is "ready to distribute" in every way that calls upon the good response of a responsible body of believers. BTW, welcome to the forums 'Nan22'!!

I am still fairly new to this Christian life but it has made such an impact in my life it still blows my mind as to how it all happened and my lifes journey that ive been on and where I am today, I wouldnt change a thing even all the terrible things that has happened I am just grateful to be here, alive and well with CHRIST BY MY SIDE and making connections with other believers. I left my Catholic faith that I grew up in and now I am part of a non denominational place of worship called The Gospel Hall which I love so deeply and finally have the peace Ive been praying for THANK YOU JESUS🙏. I use to follow so many pastors on youtube and still do but dont always get to view their videos some are John McArthur, Voddie Baucham, Paul Washer, Ray Comfort, Derek Prince, Justin Peters, and others as well. I never heard of Brother Hagin sorry unless I missed something in your messages explaining who he is I will check back on the link you sent and that will probably help me out some. Thank you PAC-fit for the welcome so very kind and its much appreciated. God Bless you and your family.🙏😊

What churches do you follow online (youtube, etc.)?

I am following the church that I used to attend for a long time, Andy Standley (North Point Community Church) and also Christ's Commission Fellowship (large congregation in the Philippines). In the past I also followed a Korean church, but I found the sermons a bit too long.

I am looking to add a few more, so I can watch a sermon everyday during my down time (about 30 minutes). I usually skip the intro and worship portions. Any suggestions welcome. I am open to both male and female pastors, all denominations, anywhere in the world. I would also like to follow a pastor who is single. I cannot listen to Christian radio since it is a bit too fire and brimstone, a lot of focus on being saved, and on a daily basis it is personally a bit too much for me. I believe they are more aimed to reach nonbelievers.
Long sermons are good. More time to explain. Please listen to it. A good pastor online a long sermon a lot but to the point he mostly edifies the church not just preaching for mostly unsaved give him a chance YouTube - Paul Washer.

I attended a Gospel hall over 40 yrs ago , they had good roots maybe 150 yrs ago , but have gone backwards like most churches. What church do I recommend? I can’t find one , been going it alone over 20 yrs , try them out sometimes but , I eventually leave because of errors . It’s the times we live in . You need to become reliant on the Bible its self . It works for me , I read it everyday, and pray constantly. I’m retired so it’s not hard to do . Working in the world can be a major distraction. There may be some good seekers in your church , but the church denomination is not what it used to be . So beware .

This might not be the most healthiest thing to do as a believer, because the Bible does say to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is (Heb. 10:25). And, even at the time of that writing, there were false brethren, false teachers and probably false groups. Some people might be wrong, but not false. What I mean is there are churches and individuals who are genuinely wrong, and how do we know them? They accept corrections, like Apollos. The false ones? Not so much. They know what they're doing. They don't care about the word of God or keeping God's commandments or pleasing God.

Yes, there are false churches, more than we can count. However, every church in this world can't be erroneous, you just have to prayerfully, and with the leading of the Spirit, find the right one for you.

Do you remember that story in the Bible where Elijah said to God that he's the only one remaining and God replied and said he has a remnant, 7,000 who has not bowed their knees to Baal (paraphrased) 1kings 19:14, 18. So I'm sure God still has a remnant, even today.

Read 2 Timothy ch 2 v 15 - 26

The qualification for meeting with others in obedience to sound doctrine verse 22 with them that call on the Lord of a pure heart . I recommend you read more of the word of God before you give advice. Thanks and God bless you as you find truth to set you free . Ps I’d never recommend a gospel hall , better to verse 21 . Lots of sin going on in them these days .

Ah, I see you are a student of Diogenes.

No no, you are MUCH better at cynicism than Jesus ever was.

You're not quite up to Diogenes' level, but keep at it and you'll

Oh I would never try to beat you at your own game. You have already proven you are a master at insulting everybody who tries to talk to you. All that is left for me to do is stand by and watch a fault finding master at work.

That's why you never can find a church good enough for you. You became too good at finding faults in all of them.
