Pro 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
Pro 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
Pro 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Pro 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
Pro 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
Pro 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
Pro 16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Pro 16:8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
Pro 16:9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.

This one is really good, and if we the Human Race practice this then there will be no room for hatred, enmity and terrorism...

In a homiletics class three students went into the chapel to practice preaching. Each one took a turn. One of the student got up and read a portion out of the gospel of John. He had nothing to say and sat down. The teacher of the class got drift of what happened and mentioned some pointers for pastors in the next class. One of these pointers was, if you get up to preach and have nothing to say just be quiet and sit back down and let someone else speak. The student liked that pointer. Then the teacher proceeded and spoke on being prepared and went into (Prov 16:1). The word preparation means to arrange and put in order having to do with the scriptures. This labor in the word and doctrine (1Tim 5:17) has to do with studying until your body is taxed to the point of exhaustion. He went on to say that some of you claim and expect God to honor (Ps 81:10-12) that every time you open your mouth, God will fill it and you never prepared yourself. You never studied or labored in the word and doctrine (2Tim 2;15).

God is going to use those that are prepared. If you are called to be a pastor/teacher then you have to be prepared, by arranging the word of God and putting it in order in your mind and heart so it can dwell richly within you (Col 3:16). How can a soldier go into battle if he is not prepared. A novice is easily defeated because he is not prepared for the battle (1Tim 3:16). The battle is the Lord's (1Sam 17:47) but you will never know it or how to function in it by faith, because you are not prepared. The point is that when we approach God's word, we study and arrange it thoroughly or we let those who have done that teach us, so that we can be prepared. Then when we open our mouths, God can fill it and the answer of the tongue will be of the LORD. Read (Eph 6:11-15)

I think there must always be a partnership between yourself God in doing everything. First of all we must make sure it's in line with God's word and our intentions are pure, commiting it to the Lord for Him to take FULL control and lead us in the right direction. He will turn around those intentions which aren't pure for His purpose.
