I went on a mission trip to Charlotte , North Carolina for a week with a group of singles from my church. While there, something must have come up that later when back in Washington State prompted one of the singles on the trip to.say, 'You are a peacemaker.'

I didn't really know what to say except I knew the popular beatitudes one of 'Blessed are the peacemaker.'.

It was a , well, Yes, a blessing to hear that from someone and I thanked her for her great as in great is the Lord and worthy of glory, great is the Lord and worthy of praise...now LIFT UP YOUR VOICE, LIFT UP YOUR VOICE, GREAT US THE Lord. I used to listen to Michael W Smith P&S cd when mid-twenties, but that's another green and nice story, so to speak:D )

If you have been given the gift of being a peacemaker then congratulations and for someone else to say this to you wouldnt just come from "nowhere"...
To be a peacemaker is a beautiful thing and we need more peace in the world and with that more love can flow freely without disturbance or "4bidden" etc...

I have been given gifts from God.
gifts I suffered for (humble my soul)
those who have met me as Victoria and listened I can give my gifts to them and help them as medier of God and...am good at it and will to serve and it gives me pleasure to do the work I was made for and given and serve well where I can and to those suseptable or accepting to listen and be open to it.
I dont speak of it to people but it is a spiritual "thing" and a spiritual communication takesplace also.
I wont try to explain my gift now but I am happy for it and happy to serve where I can and use it how it be willed.

Yes, babawhitesheep (i changed your name because 'babarrainbow' makes no sense since you are not a colorful elephant :). Google 'babar' and 'elephant' if you are confused ;)

--- so Yes bws, I was told i was a peacemaker by a lady whom I respected for raising 2 girls (8 and 10 back then) on her own and just said a lot of wisdom things , i thought, before telling me I was a 'peacemaker,. a few days after our missions trip. And, I should noté , others were around, and, I remember some saying yes, and, others saying, in so many letters, anyway, 'mmmm.'

Well, I, as matthew says in chapter 5 or 7 , do not say this to laud me but to challenge you to think of a time when someone(s) said something 'gifted' about you that made you perK up your ears. I am not being pompous I hope, but this lady saying what she said made me feel great :)

And, to further take any of you feeling I bragadocious, I can not remember ANY other time in my 40-plus years on Earth where someone said something like 'that' to me.

The Lord leads, God bless you with your work on c.c. :)

P.s. maybe try to explain your gift some time b_w_s, I, for one, would love to hear about it and surely i am not alone , you sound like a 'servant,' like Peter (and many others) who unabashedly longed for Jesus' answers and always wanted to SERVE Him . But speak your gift to us all if / when it seems fitting. I've enjoyed your fascinating things said on here of what you've been through in the Bush country. :)
