Dear friends:
What is one of your favorite verses in the First Epistle of St. John (First John/1 John)?
Mine is 1 John 2:2.
"And He Himself is the expiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world". I St. John 2:2 ONT volume 2; page 479. ONT = Orthodox New Testament. Volume 2. Copyright 2000, Holy Apostles Convent, Buena Vista, CO.

All of the Bible is inspired, and all of 1 John, for example, is important. I believe 1 John 2:2 is especially something we should believe and know about.
