What is the quality and characteristic of our production?

• “The wicked makes a deceitful wage; but one sowing righteousness has a sure reward.” (Proverbs 11:18).

The wicked yield deceitful wage. And us? What we are doing produces opportunities for people growing in Christ Jesus or only offers jobs that hardly serve to meet their needs?

What we are doing conduce to strengthen the system that rules this world? If yes, recall the warning of the Holy Scripture:

• “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.” (Rom 12:2).

After all Ha-Satan is the ruler of this world, and he has nothing in Jesus.” (John 14:30). Furthermore:

• “We know that we are of God, and all the world lies in evil.” (1Jn 5:19);

The life is so hectic that, many times, we forget that we were put in this world to shine Jesus and His Word:

• “Do all things without murmurings and disputings, so that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation. Among these *you shine as lights in the world*, holding forth the Word of Life,…” (Php 2:14-16);
• “And those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the sky; and those who turn many to righteousness shall shine as the stars forever and ever.” (Dan 12:3);
• “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under the grain-measure, but on a lampstand. And it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.” (Mat 5:14-16).

Of course: one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory (1Co 15:41). But this doesn’t change the fact that each star has its particular and special glare.

So, don’t allow your brightness turn out, nor despise your shine. Even if it is less than most of the stars (making you to seem inconsequential), you can be sure that your glow has a peculiar role in the plan of the Creator.

In face of this, have a good week taking heed to yourself, lest your heart are weighed down with headaches and drinking and anxieties of this life; and that day (the day of Jesus’ calling in your life) should suddenly come on you (Luke 21:34).
