Your soul is the seat of your feelings. David in the Psalms said that his soul clung to the dust at times. Your soul will never find rest until it finds rest in Christ alone. Until it surrenders all that it strives for into the hands of God to give or take away. Until it learns it has no rights - it only belongs. To Christ.
