Well in a sense, yes, sin is sin. And just as sodomy is a sin, so is murder. But as the brother in the video pointed out, sodomy is different for the simple reason of the wicked character of the Sodomites. Sodomites are proud of their wicked sin and they flaunt their sin. They celebrate their open rebellion against God Almighty and His holy word.
A good question which the brother asks, to illustrate this point further is: how many Thief Pride parades have you ever seen?
Or how many Murder Pride parades have you seen?
Do you get the point by now?

I've looked up what sodomy is. With the exception of involving animals, I don't see how we're supposed to judge or be in the business of people based on what they do in the privacy of their bedroom (as in what sexual acts they do to one another).

This isn't true ladybug. All sin separates people from Holy God (nothing that in Christ is the relationship reestablished); however, sin does gradient also.
It's popular in our culture to equate taking a pen from work with a serial murderer strangulating, raping, and burying dozens of boys into his cellar like Gacy did in Chicago; however, that's an assertion that contradicts the bible.

I have never understood why so many people are so dumb they think sodomy=homosexuality/. It doesn't. Sodomy is equally present in heterosexual relationships as it in in homosexual ones. So unless you are going to patrol what straight couples do in the bedroom as well, at least take the effort to use the right word choices.
just because sodomy may occur behind closed doors, does NOT mean that God can't see what's going on.. God sees ALL, even through closed doors..just sayin'..
