What were you created for?

Were you created for receiving boons or for gathering garbage?

• “For there must also be heresies among you, that the approved ones may be revealed among you.” (1Cor 11:19).
• “Woe to the world because of offenses! For it is necessary that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!” (Mat 18:7).

See that the evil exists and it is necessary to be done. For instance:

1 – For us to be saved, it was needed a Judas:

• “And truly the Son of Man goes, as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!” (Luk 22:22).

2 – When Jesus comes again, will be necessary an antichrist to precede His coming:

• “For God gave into their hearts to do His mind, and to act with one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast until the Words of God will be fulfilled.” (Rev 17:17).

Both evil is necessary that the Holy Scripture says:

• “Jehovah has made all for His purpose; yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.” (Pro 16:4).
• “Behold, I have created the smith who blows the coals in the fire, and who brings out a tool for his work; and *I have created the waster to destroy*.” (Isa 54:16)

The question, however, is: who will occupy this office and carry out this role?

• “The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked comes in his place.” (Proverbs 11:8).

Are we in the group of those who will get rid of doing trouble or of those who will fill in for the righteous in this?

Are we vessels of wrath or vessels of mercy?

• “What if God, willing to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much long-suffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction; and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy which He had before prepared to glory;” (Rom 9:22,23).

Is Jesus, in our life, the Cornerstone or a Stone-of-stumbling and a Rock-of-offense?

• “Therefore also it is contained in the Scripture: "Behold, I lay in Zion a chief corner Stone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him shall never be ashamed. Therefore to you who believe is the honor. But to those who are disobedient, He is the Stone which the builders rejected; this One came to be the Head of the corner, and a Stone-of-stumbling and a Rock-of-offense to those disobeying, who stumble at the Word, to which they also were appointed.” (1Peter 2:6-8).

So, the horse is prepared for the day of battle, but for you I wish a day full of peace of Jesus (not the “peace” of the world – John 14:27) and safe from collecting the trash of feud, anguish, malice, gossip, despair, etc. (Pro 21:31).

1 Corinthians 6:13 NKJV - "Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body [is] not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body."
