Will he say, ''I pleaded with you constantly. I sent my Spirit to beg and plead with you to turn from sin, but you would not hear. I even sent my messengers to warn you that anyone who does iniquity will not be saved. You had a chance, but you rejected me. If only you had listened.''
Will he say, ''You started well. You told many people about me. You gave glory to my name. But then you became more preoccupied with the things the world had to offer. I kept calling you by my Spirit to repent and return to me, but you desired this life more than mine. You desired carnal things, and you would not come back to me. I told you to knock and I would open my door, but you would not. I told you to seek my kingdom and my righteousness, and that all the other things will come, but you would not. I do not know you.''
Will he say, ''You have done well my good and faithful servant. Enter into my rest.''
