Let me quote a passage from the book of Song of Solomon 8:7
"If a man would give for love,
All the wealth of his house,
It would be utterly despised."
This exactly talks about what love can do, what love can give, and what love demands, of which the Man from Nazareth - Jesus demonstrated. He left His Father's house for the pursuit of love of His Bride - the Church, it's us.
I always pause and wonder how great this kind of love is. His love is strong as death, jealousy demanding as the grave. Death is unstoppable and grave demands everything.
From Genesis to the Book of Revelation we can see this golden thread called love. He's after my heart, He's after your heart.
Love demands everything! Time, strength, resources, & every kind of effort.
