huh, I think I would be a little suspicious. Depends on what the favour is. Probably I would say no. Because I've had that experience when I was quite happy that an old school mate contacted me and thought we were going to do a fun catch-up (as had some of my other old school mates and reminisce about our school days) but really she was only hoping I'd buy tupperware and host a party for her.

If that happened to me now and it bothered me, I'd pray and ask God what the wise thing to do is. I've learned its ok to say no. They will just ask someone else. It's better to say 'no' in the beginning even if a bit unsure rather than go 'maybe' or 'perhaps' because then they assume you will help them and push you into it even if you having second thoughts. Then you start stressing about it and we DO NOT NEED MORE STRESS in our lives!
My thoughts exactly. I only asked because that's exactly what happened to me. A school friend called and asked to meet me. I didn't feel right about it. I know this guy. Have helped him in the past at least emotionally.

He has addiction issues. I don't. I'm also fighting to make things in my life work. I don't need to waste my time and energy on people who definitely don't appreciate it enough. I told him I'm not feeling well. Catch up another day. Which I will postpone indefinitely till he gets the idea.

Or even directly say no the next time.

You give to people. And they very easily take for granted what good comes from a friend without a second thought to the generosity and good treatment they receive from their friend.

It emotionally and financially drains you. I agree with what you said.

Ok what would you do...if you won first division lotto?
If it were money, I would get good things for my family. Buy new clothes for myself. Save up for future needs.

I would feel happy whatever the prize was.

My question: What would you do if something you were anxious about and prayed to God about went well for you?

I would thank God first, probably with tears in my eyes. Then I would remind myself of how worried I had been and how faithfully God had carried me through it.

What would you do if God gave you the opportunity to start one chapter of your life all over again?

Knowing they participate in such behaviors outside of work,no,I wouldn't hang out with them.

Drunk people can be embarrassing.
"Keeping colleagues separate from true friends protects your career and privacy."

"Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. "

"Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” "
I always ask myself if Jesus would be here or participate in something like this? Or speak like that or drink like that. That pretty much tells me what I need to know. WWJD ! ? I’m

Maybe I would have travelled to more places and lived overseas. I mean not just on missions but to experience what the world had to offer I suppose. Instead of staying single or at home, it might have been interesting being married and having children or learn another language and become fluent.

But thats assuming you can go back in time. We've already been given the opportunity when we are born again. So the new chapter just means Jesus is redeeming us and we can't or won't want to go back to sinful ways.

What would you do (if you aren't already) if you couldn't walk and had to be in a wheelchair?

It is not so bad where I live. Though, if you wanted to, you could buy alcohol, beer, whisky, brandy, etc. Cigarettes. Even weed. There are dealers (not legal though).

There is always something everyone is addicted to these days. As long as it's not hard drugs or habits that destroy your body as much, we've much to be grateful for.

For being someone who believes in God, my faith in Jesus keeps me safe. Looking to God for help in such circumstances and tempting times is the right thing to do. Jesus alone can save a soul no human being can. Especially in cases of addiction.

Stay blessed my friends.

what would you do in times of temptation?
sing songs -volumn not important - about the blood of Jesus. Be aware that demons can hear you and they hate to hear any thing about the blood that is our real power.
