Hi all. My first post here. I basically joined to ask this from you all. I've got an offer from a client to make a website for him, but the topic is credits. Now, I have some issues about this as I feel that credits can be put to good use just as almost anything else. But, unfortunately, they are mostly used by the financial mafia to rob people and enslave them. Would you accept or reject this job and how would you argue pro and con.

You can always ask for a deposit (keep upon job completion) + rest of payment, and or remedy clause in the event of late or with-held payment (eg. 15%pa interest rate) and an agreement to resolve dispute via 'alternative dispute resolution' (i'm not sure what the american system is, ask a lawyer), expenses paid for by them upon a signature that the website is satisfactory to their expectations upon completion, with the exception of arising problems unknown at the time (you may need to create a checklist of its qualities, as electronic and software goods tend to be problematic).

Although, your offer will likely not come under a judges description of 'in the course of business', which can give some benefits, not sure that I want to make this a law essay though.
