Sometimes it seems that God does not answer your prayers, right? Here are 12 things you need to consider in such moments. Some of them may explain why it seems that God does not respond:
1. Read His Word.

Prayer is talking to God, true, but He answers us and speaks directly through His word. If you are looking for answers and advice, there you'll find all that ... also you discover that "Jesus did not come just to give us answers, but to be the answer".

Moreover, faith comes by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17). The Bible is the source of faith we need every day.

2. You need to be more specific when you pray.

Sometimes we pray very broadly by many issues, so we see no accurate by God to our prayers, even though he answer them and those answers are in front of our faces response.

We should be more specific in our requests to God. So when God's answer is before us, we will see much more clearly how He does answer our prayers.

3. Look pray in a biblical way.

Learn to pray. The more we understand what the Bible about God and prayer, better pray he says, and for the correct sentence and that really pleases God, our hearts are changed to better understand how God works in us and around us.

In a few weeks I will discuss in the blog about the importance of praying with proper knowledge. Subscribe here on the blog (completely free) so you do not miss those posts.

As Sproul says: "If there is anything worse than not pray it is to pray in a wrong way." If we seek to pray biblically it is not that God will reward us listening (not deserve anything that He gives us). If we seek to learn to pray well it is because we want our faith to grow as God wants and because we want to know God every day.

Having a good growing understanding of God, of us and prayer, we will wait for answers from God as He wants us to do: With joy and faith.

No one is an expert in prayer, but Christians to seek better pray every day (and God is patient and loving with us as we learn to pray and listen to us even though sometimes we are wrong).

4. Are you seeing things as God sees?
No spiritual maturity is the ability to see what is extraordinary (precisely because the extraordinary is very visible), but learn to see all things as God sees them. Maybe God is answering your prayers and your eyes are closed and you can not see! Pray to God to teach you to see things as he sees them.

5. Be patient and persevere.

"Just because you do not see the answer to your prayer does not mean that God ignores you"
God can answer many of your prayers in the same time when you do. However, many times He wants us to wait while waiting to know him more (Be patient and persevering in faith is part of praying). Just because you do not see the answer to your prayer does not mean that God ignores you.

Something important that we also need to know: Perhaps several of your prayers will be answered when Jesus returns. Think about it. That's why our prayers are used by God to increase in us a longing for the fulfillment of His will.

6. Examine your prayers and your heart.

Why you ask what you ask? How is your heart? What do you most crave? Remember that God never granted a request that is outside of His will as revealed (John 15: 7), and not from a heart truly contrite and who loves God every day.

John 9:31 states that God does not listen to sinners, Psalms 109: 7 suggests that the prayers of those who are not children of God are sin and Proverbs 28: 9 says that disobedient prayer is an abomination to God. Psalm 66 has much to say about that.

In contrast, the Word says in Proverbs 15:29 that God hears the righteous, and in James 5:16 that the prayer of a righteous man avails much.

7. Renounce any false idea.

An imaginary god never answer prayers but sometimes some people believe that other (Jeremiah 44: 16-19). Instead, the only true God does hear our prayers.

I say this because in the past I have heard some people pray, and when I listen, I immediately realize that I do not believe in the God of the Bible (it's amazing how much you can learn about the theology of someone to listen to that person pray).

I'm not saying this is your case, but it is always good to remember who is really God when we pray and hope. It is important to examine ourselves (2 Corinthians 13: 5)

When we know who God is, our pride is crushed and seek pray according to His will and recognizing it as it really is And those prayers are always answered for Glory to God! Also confess our sins in prayer, which is very important when we pray (1 John 1: 9).

"We should never pray as if God were us something"
So every day seeks to know God and how Jesus saved you and your life (and your prayers, and their answers) is built on truth. We should never pray as if God were something to us, as if the power is in our faith (and not in whom faith is) as if God needed our permission, as if God were not omnipotent.

God is working in us to will and to do (Philippians 2:13) ... and this includes our prayers and the reason for them.

When we embrace the truth, we have joy in God while waiting to answer our prayers.
