Where are we going, for what and how?
• “Ponder the path of your feet, and all your ways will be established.” (Pro 4:26).
Many times, we are passing through this world without any purport. How can we find gaiety if we don’t know what is good for us? How can we find the right way if we don’t know where we need to arrive, where Jesus desire us?
Jesus arise us to be His harbinger (or ambassador, if you prefer) :
• “And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; whereas God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and putting the word of reconciliation in us. Then we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as God exhorting through us, we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” (2Cor 5:18-20).
In face of this, let’s take seriously the following verse:
• “Like vinegar to the teeth, and like smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to those who send him.” (Pv 10:26).
Understanding that sluggard is that who get involved (and entangled) with picayune activities, let’s keep in mind that every second ours ought to be employed to make amend between Jesus and people around us.
Who waste time wandering around or only seeking in Christ in according to the things of this life, will become the most wretched of the creatures (1Cor 15:19), a weariness to the Creator (Isaiah 43:23,24) and a pain to Jesus that sent us.
So, have a good day being a faithful herald of the Creator, namely, someone who makes return to Jesus’ soul on a daily basis for find elation in His presence (Psalms 37:4) instead of staying biding for the day when everybody will be compelled to give account of themselves.
• “Like cold snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to his senders; for he makes return to his master's soul.” (Pro 25:13).
Instead of being staunch only for a great mission (thinking on great things to Jesus and those who you love), be stalwart to Jesus in the little things every day, living one portion of fondness and love at a time.
