I like the way Stephen Colbert put it... But it should come from the people and the church without state regulation.

This just proves that if we take the premise that all TRUTH comes from GOD..then we can find TRUTH in some of the strangest places...even in TV commedy.
 
a lot of Christian fails to this tests. Their opinion is more important than acknowledging God and His teachings. Christians that lacks faith. God is not after our church performance, or doing things for others. We are blessed to be a blessing. We do these things because He first loved us. Even our enemies are included to be our neighbors. He is after the change of our hearts.

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

 
That's the main problem. It's about the government gaining more control and the system being so broken to the point that it's serving those who do not deserve it while there's Americans actually struggling and need assistance but they don't get it. That's the main hype as far as how America has been 'helping people', which is debatable in of itself.
 
They say it's a small fraction of our taxes that even feed the welfare system, so they seem to try equalizing through irregular taxation. Give me a flat tax and take away obesity in the church any day. If churches can afford to have CD's in the bank and/or investments in the hundreds of thousands, or even tens of thousands they can afford to give people jobs in the private sector.
 
Umm...Stephen Colbert is a devout Christian. He's a religious ed teacher at his local church, and lectors on Sundays.
 
Jesus isn't selfish,

This guy said that Jesus is selfish.

We have to pretend that Jesus was just
as selfish as we are, he told that in his message!
For who it is ?
 
the failure is in each of us, it's being promoted as "sin"...the truth is that we FAILED and all this BS about "sin" is nothing but a smoke screen and following religion ,we are allowed to do this OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

FAILURE HAS TO STOP BEFORE WE MOVE ON.
