I am 18 and single and totally fine with that because I know that God has someone planned just for me but everyone around me seems to think I need to have someone special and even my mom is trying to hook me up with guys. It's all very frustrating, any advice? Has anyone been here too? Thanks :)
 
just tell her your not intrested atm we all need to live a single fun life before they seatle down
 
Yes I've been there, and it sucks. I don't think there's much you can do except keep trying to tell them you're not interested.

I think you can easily say that you are not interested and don't go. But at the same time there are people like me who no one ever tries to hook up on a date. I wish someone would do that for me because I never meet guys. So look at it from another perspective be happy that other care about your future as a woman, wife and probably mother.

Ah, the grass is always greener on the other side, isn't it. ;) Don;t worry, just keep praying and keep your eyes open so you don't miss any opportunities :)
 
Ya...I constantly get the matchmakers chasing me down...even after I say no, they still try. I've posted it before, but I had one lady chase me down in a parking lot as I was driving away...

May I suggest one of these? It would probably help some, but I think even that might not discourage the pushiest matchmakers...
